After the name of the flower that grows on the
slopes of our mountains, this rally was first organised in 2004 by the
MERCEDES-BENZ
CLUB CYPRUS.
It is now organised every year by the
CYCLAMEN RALLY Oganising Committee
and is open to all Classic Car Lovers from Cyprus and Abroad, irrespective of
make, with cars over 20 years of age.
Apart from the usual prizes,
there are special awards for the best inter-communal crews, where a Greek
Cypriot and a Turkish Cypriots compete together as driver and co-driver in the
same vehicle.
The perpetual
PHAEDROS ECONOMIDES cup is awarded to the First Overall winner.
